Google Earth comes to the floor in the form of German designer David Hanauer’s WorldWide carpets, which take images from Google Earth and manipulate them to echo the designs from antique Persian rugs – repeat patterns, a central medallion and borders. These designs are then printed onto durable fabric to make mats for the floor.
